Most common dating games women play

What I learned from carrying out an interview of a female and the interview of a male trying to dig into this intriguing subject was that using the Internet for dating is equally painful for men and for women, but for very different reasons.Ironically enough, if you could take the best of those women and the best of those men, and place them in a big room where they could sit at a table and ask each other questions in person – you’d probably have 4 or 5 new match-ups by the end of the night. All they have to do is get online every day, sitting on their princess throne and file through the dozens or more profiles of men who have messaged them throughout the day.To get some insight into what women go through on these dating websites, I pulled aside one of my family members who I knew had spent some time on these sites looking for her future spouse.By the time of this interview, she had already given up and moved on, finally discovering her future husband while visiting old friends at her alma mater. Ryan (RD): What year did you sign up with an online dating website and how long did you keep your account? RD: What were the majority of messages that you received from guys like? I got some commenting on my picture telling me how “hot” I was…how “good” I looked.RD: From your experience, do you think dating sites can be at all useful for girls? I know people who have had great successes with online dating! I have a strong preference toward meeting people in person FIRST, instead of online first. RD: How did you eventually end up meeting the guy you ended up marrying?RD: If there are guys looking to actually get the attention of a girl on these dating sites, do you have any advice for them? AW: We lived across the hall from each other our first year of university.I saw that some of your interests were the same as mine,” or something along those lines. Also, some of the messages I got were from a few guys that ranged from early 40’s to late 40’s and I was maybe 19 at the time.

You can’t watch as they smile, and that smile spreads up into their eyes and transforms their face into one of the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen – a thing that warms your heart and makes you realize you want to spend more time with the person. Unfortunately, the reality is nowhere near that fantasy.

That was one of the main reasons I called it quits.

It made me SO uncomfortable that guys so much older than me, older than most of my siblings (all of which are 8 years plus older than me), were sending me messages telling me that I was “hot”.

Plus, if I don’t make it clear, he can easily swipe someone else who will. We deserve what we want, and we don’t need to sugarcoat it. We live in a modern, allegedly more evolved world, and yet we’re still holding onto the ancient logic we still need to take part in some long, drawn out (not to mention fake) mating ritual to keep a potential partner interested. Do as you say and say as you do, or get the hell out of my way.

We shouldn’t need to hide behind cryptic words and dishonest availability to lure a man into caring about us. There’s nothing natural about carefully strategized response times and playing coy. I’m not a kid anymore and I shouldn’t have to put up with this. Playing unnecessary games only leads people to overanalyze situations that really don’t need to be dissected, and you can end up reading things the wrong way. If you start things off by being honest and direct about how you’re feeling and what you want, there’s never a chance for the BS to freaking out waiting for him to text back for hours?

Sure, that moment of complete relief when he finally responds is satisfying as hell, but you know you’re just going to go through that multiple more times before you hopefully and It sucks all the fun out of dating.

  1. Girls on online dating sites really can get bombarded with messages, and at that point, they’re not really likely to spend more than 15 seconds quickly scanning through a message before decided to keep reading or not, . ” Later, once you guys have gone back and forth a few times, you can feel free to write longer, more involved messages.
